The new 2019 Toyota Avalon is set to be released in 2019, and it is believed to have similar looks and styling like the 2018 year model with a bit more luxury in the interior part. It’s power packed features are all set to give pricier rivals a run for their money. Let us delve deeper into more expectations from the “big boy” sedan.
2019 Toyota Avalon Exterior
The all-new 2019 Avalon measures should be like from the latest model, around 57.5 inches in height with a length of 195.3 and the wheelbase of 111 (Est.). It should come with standard Quadrabeam halogen headlights and LED taillights. Also there are optionaly more advanced lights like all-LED projector headlights and LED Vision Tech headlamps. There will be three types of wheels, 17, 18 to 19 inches, with aluminum alloy. Customers can choose a couple of types: Gloss black, piano black mesh grille, and machine-finish alloy wheels. The Avalon sports model gets additional 18 inches dark gray alloy wheel with machined finish and probably P225/45R18 tires and a dual chrome-tipped integrated exhaust with chrome accented cover. It boasts a sleek look with chrome front grille which seems to be the major change from previous models along with the tapered headlights. The upper grille seems to be narrower and the rear LED trapezoidal tail lights are enhanced with noticeable chrome adornments.

Toyota Avalon 2019 Interior
The 2019 Toyota Avalon should come with an Intelligent Touch automatic climate control and rear-seat vents. Equipped with the Toyota Entune app, the car offers an integrated navigation control with the 7-inch Multi-Information touchscreen display. Based on speculation, the deck console has all the expected add-ons like Bluetooth Hands Free Telephone access, AM/FM CD player, MP3/WMA playback, auxiliary audio jack, USB 2.0 with iPod connectivity and control, phone book access, music streaming, advanced voice recognition, and HD radio traffic as well as weather overlay. The Touring and Limited trims get the 10-inch Head-Up Display, as a standard level of equipment.

If we look audio system inside it’s one of the best on the market, especially if we check the number of speakers, which is 14, 7.1-channel surround sound, and power of 1200 Watts, all that as standard. The sound comes with control of new Entune 3.0 Premium Audio system, nice move from Toyota. Driving should be a pleasure with cruise control and premium leather-trimmed multi-stage heated front seats aided by the revamped telescopic steering wheel and voice command controls. The heated seats (standard thing these days) that come complete with a power adjustable driver’s seat makes it very comfortable to drive. The multifunctional Optitron instrumentation display shows the speedometer, tachometer, odometer, trip meter as well as the coolant temperature, current/average fuel economy, distance to empty, and navigation with turn by turn directions. The next-gen Avalon will use TNGA-platform, and this one will have 30 hp more than the previous model, around 300 hp @ 6,600 rpm 3.5 liters V6 engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission (transaxle gearbox) with intelligence and sequential shift mode (8AT). Drivers can also look up to the torque of 248 lb-ft @4700 rpm. It has MacPherson suspensions with offset coil springs and stabilizer bar.
We heard that on testing, it had fuel efficiency (Est.) of 21 mpg in the city and around 31 mpg on the highway. This is a very solid score, it shows that Atkinson cycle technology did provide the great score. Fuel tank capacity is expected to be around 17 gallons.
2019 Toyota Avalon Hybrid engine will definitely be an options, it is the latest D-4S 2.5-liter Dynamic Force 4-cyl engine with the implement of the latest Hybrid System II technology. Electric motor comes with 650-volt. Transmission is CVT – Continuously-Variable.
Price and Release date
The Toyota Avalon 2019 is redesigned model and its base price is expected to be around $32,000 with the higher end models like XLE likely cost anywhere between $35.000 and $40,000. Release date as we mentioned before should be in the summer of 2019.
Though the new version of Toyota Avalon sedan is expected to be small and light-weight, seems to a bit more angular and sportier in its looks than the previous versions and also appears to be stronger and sturdier than before.
