The first official image of the 2019 Lexus ES was recently unveiled. More details about this car are expected to be given during the 2018 Beijing Motor Show but we can confidently say that it will be sharper than its predecessor. It has a more expressive styling and is based on the Toyota’s new TNGA architecture.

2019 Lexus ES Changes, Exterior
The car’s exterior design offers better proportions and more assertive grilles. There are several vertical slats that accentuate the model’s spindle grille. Its triple-element headlights are underlined by the check-mark-shaped LED lights and are slightly lower and broader. Also, the inferior shoulder-line crease and a further sculpting on the lower body in order to minimize the door’s visual height. Furthermore, it is some level of reshaping for the side-view mirrors and a more enlarged greenhouse. The sedan also has sleek horizontal taillights and a thick chrome for a more protruding belt-line.
Dimensions: wheelbase 113.0 in, length 195.9 in. There will be three sizes of wheels, 17-inch, 18-inch options and 19 inches. The last one will be used on ES F Sport trim model, those remind us on Lexus LC wheels. The sedan gets 12 colors, some of them are new, like Sunlight Green, Heat Blue (F SPORT) and F White (F SPORT).
The interior of the car shares a lot with the recently upgraded 5th-gen Toyota Avalon. The cabin will have a number of new features including the Amazon Alexa voice assistant, Apple CarPlay, and smartwatch integration. There will also be Qi wireless charging and a WiFi hotspot. Being a 7th generation model, you should expect a more premium cabin, updated infotainment system, and several safety features. The standard display will be 8.0-inch widescreen, while optionally you could get the 12.3-inch widescreen display with remote touch touchpad control. The rear occupant space looks much bigger than that of its predecessors.

Finally, the look of the interior will be very luxurious, with wood-trim and aluminum trim choices. There will be the couple of options like Linear Espresso, Linear Dark Mocha, and Matte Bamboo, while aluminum trim will be offered only with F Sport version of the sedan.
2019 Lexus ES Interior
The expected engine specifications for the new 2019 Lexus ES 350 is a 3.5-liter V6 engine with estimated 302 hp and torque of 267 lb-ft; that has been paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission system. This one gets better fuel consumption than the older model, now it is 26 mpg combined, 22 mpg city and 33 mpg highway. There are suggestions of an AWD model that uses advanced hybrid and gasoline engine specifications.
We expect to see a 2019 ES 300h hybrid that has an electric motor rear axle setup similar to the one for the upgraded UX compact crossover. The hybrid model is likely to adopt the Camry Atkinson-cycle Hybrid’s specifications of a 2.5-liter inline-4 petrol engine. It will have more than 215 ponies (more than older model)…Transmission is CVT. Fuel consumption is also better combined is around 44 mpg (10% better than the previous model).

Price and release date
The car is expected to debut towards the end of April 2018 during the Beijing auto show. The starting price for this release will be around $39,945 (ES 350), while hybrid model ES300h will cost a bit more, $42,815.
