2017 Toyota Yaris WRC

The Toyota Yaris WRC is an FIA-specified racing car that was designed exclusively to take part in the rallying sequence controlled by the FIA. The sports car is derived from the Toyota Yaris, it is the first Toyota’s hatch that has participated in the World Rally Championship since departing from the competition at the end of the 1999 race season to concentrate on their Formula One and Le Mans Prototype competitions. The 2017 Toyota Yaris WRC is constructed in the Cologne technological center of Toyota in Germany.

2017 Toyota Yaris WRC Exterior

The 2017 Toyota Yaris next generation will be constructed on the same chassis as that of the regular Yaris to make it a perfect off-road race car. It has been offered with fine exterior updates to make it as much a race competent vehicle as possible. Therefore, the external part comes with a few aerodynamic features, as well. The new sports car will be constructed with stronger outside elements to offer it the greatest possible racing characteristics.

Consequently, it comes with larger wheels when compared to those of the base model of the Yaris. Necessary stability has been offered to the car to address different types of racetracks. It also comes equipped with improved spoilers to improve the racing features on the track. The front part comes equipped with powerful redesigned headlamps to offer better visibility. 2017 Toyota Yaris turbo comes with a red color hood, and its sides are adorned with multi-colored racing lines to offer it a unique look while racing.

As the all-new 2017 Toyota Yaris WRC is a racing car, buyers cannot expect “too much” of the interior, it has a couple of comfort features. The seats inside the cabin will be somewhat firm and they are designed to adjust to the driving situation. The inside part will be made stronger additionally to offer its occupants better safety and allow them to have an improved racing atmosphere. New Toyota Yaris WRC 2017 Engine

The 2017 Yaris WRC comes equipped with a turbocharged I4, direct injection power plant with the displacement of 1.6 liters. This power unit offers the new racing car the essential power and twist of 375 horsepower and 330 pounds per foot respectively. The powertrain is finely tuned to offer a smooth travel on any sort of a surface on the racetrack. The engine also offers better acceleration to the car, which makes it reach the speed of 60 mph from the start in 3.7 seconds.

With this powertrain, the new racing car attains the maximum velocity of 155 mph. Overall, Toyota has taken much effort to make its new Yaris WRC 2017 a more performance-centered vehicle to compete resourcefully with its class competitors, such as the 2016 Volkswagen Polo and the 2016 Ford Fiesta.

Date of release and price

The 2017 Toyota Yaris WRC will come out for sale close to the year 2016, meaning it may be released for sale during late 2016 or early 2017. However, it is definite that the new car will be released earlier than the commencement of the new World Racing Championship season. The price has not yet confirmed and it is expected that it will be announced during its release or close to the commencement of the racing season.
New 2017 Yaris WRC will be driven by 31-year-old Jari-Matti Latvala from Finland, also there will be two more members from Finland, Juho Hanninen and future star Esapekka Lappi.
