2017 Toyota Tarago for Australian market

As we know, the Toyota Tarago(Estima in Japan) is the marketing name for numerous Toyota people mover vans sold in the Australian and Japan market since 1983. The first generation was introduced 1983 and it was sold until 1990. Then the second generation was introduced 1990 and sold until 2000. The third generation was on the markets from 2000-2006, and the fourth and in the same time the current generation was introduced 10 years ago. As we know, the Tarago people-mover is a very popular vehicle in Japan, but also in the other countries.

This minivan offers very safety and comfortable ride, as well as an affordable price for this kind of vehicle. A few months ago, this model debuted in Japan and receives some significant changes compared to the previous model. When it comes to Australia markets, we can expect it a bit later. This model will probably come with two trim levels including GLX and GLi trims. In the following review, you can learn something more about the redesigned 2017 Toyota Tarago.

2017 Toyota Tarago Exterior design

From the outside, this model will be different compared to the previous one and that is notable at the first glance. We can see some changes, especially at the front side of the vehicle, it will be more stylish than before. More precisely, the grille of this model is now very thin compared to the previous model. The connection between the headlights and the grille is the same as before.

The 2017 Tarago headlights are also a bit different, and the system that powers it will be updated LED technology. Also, in the middle of the grille, we can see Toyota logo. Down low, the bumper is massive and the fog lights are very slim and the same system powers it. Instead of the rounded fog lights that we used to see in the previous model, new fog lights are actually one slimline. The mentioned bumper is also more muscular and it will feature more sharp angles compared to the previous model.

At the sides, new Toyota Tarago 2017 will most likely use 17-inch aluminum wheels. The profile side will remain the same as before, but at the rear side, we can see some changes. We can expect slimmer taillights and maybe a little bit more muscular rear bumper. The chassis is updated, it has improved handling, the automaker has added performance damper for better hole and vibration abortion during driving. For more expensive trim, you can optionally get a blacked out roof, different aluminum wheel design, and size.

The interior design of this model will get the slight refresh. First of all, let’s start with the information that the cabin of this model can accommodate up to seven passengers by providing three-row seating. All seven seats in the cabin will be well shaped, and we can expect leather as standard upholstery for all seats, also for a steering wheel. The dashboard is simply organized, and in the middle, we can see a 6.1″ touchscreen display.
